Garmin's Fenix 8 AMOLED and Epix 2 Pro deal stands out for steep pricing on premium multisport watches, with the Epix 2 Pro drawing attention for its sapphire screen on titanium versions and the Fenix 8 titanium AMOLED landing around $800 shipped in one reported checkout. The main catch is deal reliability, since the coupon code stopped working for several attempts and the site has a reputation for slow shipping and weak customer service. A separate note points to REI discounts as a possible fallback, making this a strong price watch if the code still applies.

  • The sapphire Epix 2 Pro option includes a sapphire screen, which can reduce concerns about glass-only variants.

  • The titanium Epix options are the ones described as having sapphire, while non-titanium options are described as glass.

  • REI is offering a separate Garmin Fenix promotion with $250 off during its Black Friday event.

  • A potential improvement to the deal may come from REI points dividend if the sale timing aligns with the predicted discount.

  • The coupon code did not work when attempting to duplicate the deal.

  • The coupon code reportedly does not work for both 42mm and 47mm Epix Gen 2 Pro models.

  • The site has bad reviews about delayed shipping and customer service, which can affect delivery expectations.

  • A Fenix without MIP is described as a major drawback, which can matter for readability and usability preferences.

No, only the titanium options have the sapphire. The non titanium just says glass.
My bad, you're right. I didn't notice the 3 options.

Bestbuy has the Epix 2 Pro at 499. Researching how to use HSA for this, anyone has experience?

Invest your HSA. Buy with FSA if you have one (which you'd be ineligible to use if you currently contribute to HSA).

After few hours of deliberation and internal fight, decided to go with Epix Pro from Amazon. Did not use HSA

Generally, you can't simply use HSA funds to purchase a Garmin smart watch. What you'll need is a letter of medical necessity, otherwise you would fail an audit. Garmin partners with a company called Truemed that can provide one. After you purchase a watch, you can fill out a Truemed survey about your medical history. If you have a history of hearth disease, obesity, etc, you can probably get approved. However, you have to purchase the watch first and there is no guarantee you get the letter of medical necessity. I also don't know how to do it though a different retailer like Amazon.

If you contribute to HSA, you can't do FSA..How do you plan on getting via FSA?

Coupon code not working for me.
REI is having $250 on Gramin Fenix for their black friday event though. Not quite as good as this deal but still pretty great savings.
