Dollar General's gift card promo is strongest for Xbox and select restaurant cards, with 20 percent off Xbox Game Pass cards and discounts on brands like Cracker Barrel, Cabela's, Bass Pro, Domino's, Burger King, Panera, and LongHorn. The ad is confusing, though, because the picture shows Game Pass Core while the text points to Game Pass Ultimate, and the $10 off two $25 cards offer appears limited to one transaction. Store policy also varies, since some locations only accept cash for gift cards. A practical pick if the right card is in stock and your store allows card payments.

  • The ad includes 20% off Cracker Barrel and other restaurant gift cards on the last page.

    TheListOfStu

  • The ad includes 15% off Cabela's and Bass Pro gift cards on the last page.

    TheListOfStu

  • Some Dollar General stores accept credit cards for gift card purchases, which can simplify checkout.

    hskanner

  • Xbox account balance caps at $1,000, which can help plan how much to load with gift cards.

    Dashey10

  • Some Dollar General stores only accept cash for gift card purchases, so payment method can vary by location.

    tunabreathWildwilly23taiwan

  • The $10 off 2 of $25 each offer appears limited to one transaction per flyer, which can restrict stacking.

    FabulousCabbage629FabulousCabbage629

  • The ad image and text create uncertainty because the picture shows Game Pass Core while the text mentions Game Pass Ultimate.

    SubZtx

  • Gift card purchases can carry fraud and chargeback risk, and store acceptance of credit cards can vary by location.

Can anyone identify the two remaining gift cards on the 20% off sale? I'm guessing PF Chang's and unsure of the other.

I don't think there are, but I do know that some DGs only accept cash as payment for gift cards so I'd inquire about your local stores policy first.

Can you post a source? Every place I can find that ad online is saying 20% off of the Xbox $25 gift card and Game Pass Ultimate gift cards not 50% off.

Yep. I usually get a ton every year. I may go for the Lowe's gift card for 15% off but will otherwise skip DG this year. Their gift card offers suck this year.

This is for BF, not a current sale.

Just google "Dollar General Black Friday 2025". It will be in the first result. SD may block the link.

Given Microsoft's announcement of raising prices for Game Pass, I'm going to say yes. I'm personally going to stock up on currency cards instead since I rarely use Game Pass.

Nope, disappointed at that as well as no Cracker Barrel (usually give as gifts to parents). Sometimes DG ad offerings are regional though, so it may be possible.
