Govee's 200 foot Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro stand out for true white output, spliceable runs, and a thinner wire setup that can be extended with the extra driver, splice connectors, and extensions included in the 200 foot kit. The app gets strong praise, and the lights are described as beautiful once installed. The main knocks are price, with this deal only slightly better than Govee's usual sale and still above some recent festival pricing, plus the Pro's triangle light effect and the included mount clips. A solid option if white performance and install flexibility matter most.
Common Questions (5)
It is a solid sale price, but not the lowest seen. The current Prime price is about $20 better than Govee's normal sale price, yet some shoppers have paid around $300 during Govee festival promos or even $169 for smaller setups.
Yes. The lights are spliceable, and the 200' set includes an additional LED driver plus splice connectors and extensions. The Pro version can also run longer on a single driver before hitting the limit compared with non-Pro models.
Yes. The Pro model is described as making a truer bright white, while the non-Pro versions are limited to warm white. That makes the Pro the better pick if you want white light that looks more like daylight instead of amber-toned white.
Yes. The app is described as fine and easy to recommend, which matters because these lights are app-controlled and often used for custom effects and scheduling.
The included mount clips work, but they are described as ugly, so some buyers replace them with different clips for a cleaner look. That is mainly an appearance upgrade rather than a functional requirement.

This often the best deal ever during a year, so I did not wait until black Friday sales.

Pro vs the 2's

The other is you can run longer cords and splice for length on a single driver... I don't know the exact details because I paid for professional install but when you are splicing up a string you are going to hit the "wall" of needing a second driver with the non Pro's earlier than with the Pros which may or may not impact your installation depending on your layout.

Is it this one? What did you get? The reviews are better, the price is better. What else should I know about the differences?
