It blows my mind how often they'll pack Pepperidge Farm cookies in my Subscribe and Save order along with beverages and heavy bathroom items like mouthwash and shampoo. They can get pretty pulverized. You can get a refund, but you'll need to chat with amazon support, since they don't allow returns on food items.

If you live near a Publix, these just went on BOGO.
It does end up costing more than this deal, but you can buy them knowing that they won't be crushed when you get home.

Last time my 6 pack bottle of soda came in and one completely missing out from one of the plastic ring. Chat isn't always available either for refund issue too. Took me 2 days to get a hold of them.

They packed an order of 5 4-packs of cans of ravioli along with 2 packages of cookies. One package of cookies was pulverized to dust. When I started the process to get a refund, I was asked to return it. That was a first. After I got to chat with an AI, I was offered a refund, which never materialized. So after 2 days, chat again, this time supposedly with a real person. Got the refund. In the meantime, the whole order was re-sent by UPS. But it was stolen in transit (my money is on UPS), and they delivered a bag of tree bark, a particular item Amazon does not even sell. I really can't complain to Amazon about something I wasn't entitled to anyway, and UPS claims are a joke. Not the first time UPS has "diverted" by order.
BTW, we sprinkled the cookie dust on ice cream. It was great.

My past 2 refunds have been through Amazon's ai chat bot, which imo has worked fairly smoothly to process return/refunds

Last month, they shipped a lot of items from S&S just one in one box. This was one of them. Tight fit box. All but 2 were crushed. Amazon magic...

When I opened my november s&s I thought these very same cookies would all be smashed but somehow all the plastic trays kept all but one cookie from breaking out of 5 packs. I honestly don't care if they are broken into pieces. These cookies make lots of crumbs when you eat them out of the bag. Very dry but so very delicious as well. These are my 2nd favorite PF cookie.

Mine had a 12 pound bag of cat food thrown on top! Ants were everywhere.
