The LADPED LP60 looks like a lightweight, basic entry scooter that is best for kids, short neighborhood rides, and first time riders. It is described as very light, similar in design to the old M365 and Lime scooters, and capable of around 18 mph in real use. The main tradeoffs are a tiny battery, no shock absorbers, and weak hill performance, especially for heavier riders. Battery safety and tire replacement costs are also raised as practical concerns. A simple starter scooter if the range and power limits fit your use.
first-time scooter riders who want something basic and reasonably powerful for the price because one commenter said the LP60 "works great for a first timer electric scooter" and they were able to reach around 18 mph in use.
parents buying a lightweight scooter for a child because the LP60 is described as "super light" with a "tiny battery" that a 6-year-old loves.
neighborhood riders around the ~275 lb range who are okay with some hill slowdown because a commenter said they rode the LP80 (same family as the LP60) around Philadelphia for work with "no problems," with only some slowdown on hills.
people who want a simple commuter for flat-ish routes because commenters described it as a basic scooter with no shock absorbers but "decently powerful for the price," and it worked fine after 2-3 weeks.
adult riders who want strong hill climbing because at about 240 lb one commenter said the scooter "will basically come to a stop" on their hill and recommended a bigger/more powerful scooter (500W minimum) instead.
heavier riders on steeper routes because at ~220 lb a commenter said it's "not great on hills" and may stop on steeper ones (they suggested kicking with a leg as a workaround).
adult riders who want to feel like they're getting a proper adult-level scooter because one commenter said if you're an adult you'll "want 500w or bigger to scratch that itch properly."
buyers who are very concerned about battery quality and safety because one commenter said they're "dead scared of the battery getting on fire while charging" and questioned the battery quality/QC at this price.

I've heard people store the battery when not in use in something like a fire pit so it something happens the fire is contained.
Edit: turned out there was a glitch on the payment screen each time I tried to pay and the original price one was still there on a "to pay" screen, along with 2 higher price orders. Bought the first, released the other two.
