Maybe in an ideal world, sure. But in reality any decent full suspension bike without glaring issues is going to be $2k+. Considering you get this assembled if you buy/pickup in store, get free tuning at REI for like a year after purchase, and have actual shops that will support/maintain these all over the country, this is a pretty solid value compared to what you can find at your LBS or even what you can buy D2C from brands like Polygon or Canyon.

This is actually not that good of a deal compared with what else is out there right now, and the REI branded bikes won't have any resale compared with major brands.

What else would you consider buying besides the Giant stance deal for $800?
