Walmart has its annual sale on the Cooper discoverer all-terrain tires; $30 off each.
These are a truck/SUV type tire. They can get a little loud as they have an above average aggressive tread pattern. But perform well dry, wet, and even snow.
They offer mid level lifespan (620 Treadwear). Just make sure to rotate and keep the air pressure correctly set and they will not get to loud and last a decent amount of time.

I got the E rated since everything else kept going out of stock. First snow and ice week and days low 20s these were as good as my FWD car with new snow flake rated tires or better.
i didn't need or want the AT but waited too long for the normal road tires.
Neighbors with pickups with road Goodyear etc said they were spinning around and sliding.
I have zero experience in snow with this truck but had no choice. Family emergency for the week so lent out my car and I used the truck. Amazing tires even on rwd
These are not snow tires and pickups are horrible in snow but I didn't notice any of this.
I had heavy truck cap but otherwise junk old truck. I find the road noise way way better than the wild peaks that were on it. They had good tread but don't know how many miles one them.
Probably better for smaller 4x4 or those that need AT but for my low use pickup it seems great. I had installed locally vs Walmart for convenience and my rusty rims with stupid glued on chrome I don't think the Walmart kids would deal with. Local Mexican shop cost more but they are experienced and quick
I no longer recall which Dunlop or General models. I will say that I'll never buy General tires again. I never felt fully in control in the wet and even less so on snow even in 4wd.
Without question, the best tires of that bunch were the Bridgestones and if I'm being honest, I think the Revo was better than the Revo2 but that might be memory bias because I had just come from those awful Generals. They were quiet for the first half of their treadlife, had great traction, and most importantly, I always felt like the 4Runner was going to go where I told it to go in the snow instead of slip-sliding in that General (no pun intended) direction.
But new Bridgestones became silly expensive unless you get a deal. So I tried Cooper Discoverer next. They're a notch below the AT Revos in the dry and wet but maybe a notch better in the snow. They're good tires. They're noisier than the Bridgestones and give a little less MPG but I like them well enough that I bought a second set 2 years ago. And I'll probably buy a 3rd if I still have this truck when it needs new tires.

The Defender2 is similar to the Outlast tire you can find here. Buy the one that is cheaper.
The Cooper Discoverer are more aggressive tread, do better in snow, but have shorter lifespan.
may get these for a new 4runner
DT asked if we could tell which Cooper Discover Tire it was. I gave them an opportunity to match or come off pricing and they could not (which they usually do something) He did say watch the DOT date and make sure its not old stock. Look up that if you dont know about the mfg date on tires.
Cooper does not have a "Discover" tire but has 3 other discover then a name ... so this might be a WM Cooper tire only.
There are some rebates on the Cooper tires but I cant seem to find how to get to them without using a Goodyear credit card....
Still- the tires were a little over $150 each and for All Terrain on my old Silverado, I feel like its a deal
You have 90 days money back - so I will not install until after I see Black Friday deals ...just to be a Slick Deal kind of guy
BTW - Walmart charges $18 a tire for install, and $10 for Road Hazard .... Discount Tire is slipping
