Ring sizing kit for smart rings. It was $10 and came with a $10 BB gift card. This way you could add the gift card balance to your account and no longer have to worry about the short expiration date of the original promotional certicate.Looks like, from comments here, that may no longer work the same way (or at all).

Check your email for a $10 gift certificate from Best Buy. I sometimes receive these occasionally (once a year), possibly getting people to browse/visit stores before Black Friday shopping.

Aye same thing happened to me, it seems that either they caught on or something is wacked. Mine said no issue of promo if cancelled. Ymmv

No. I was told the system now declines if the order total is $0. You can chat and they will refund your next order.

Same. I had a $10 extra cert issued from my Best Buy card for making two separate $25+ orders outside Best Buy. They immeadiately canceled the order after I placed it, with the reason being, "they could not verify my payment method." I contacted support, and they gave me a case number to receive $10 back on my next order. I guess that's better than losing the $10 completely.

So to anyone else... don't try the $10 smart ring kit trick again. Best Buy will cancel it and eat your certificate. Your only recourse will be to contact support for a future discount.
