I switched from a Fenix 6 with the always on trans reflective screen to a approach s70 with the OLEDs and I absolutely hate it. Wrist gestures lighting up my screen when I'm driving my car or using a fork 😂. I also can't peak discretely at my wrist to check the time as well unless I turn on always on screen which has a huge battery hit. Some of us prefer the trans reflective screen over the OLED.

I think other OEMs are eating away Garmin's market share. Garmin must up their ante with good battery life and affordable, their prices went nasty high lately

Finally these last gen fenixes are coming down to reasonable prices. If I were waiting for a good price to jump on one of these I'd pull the trigger on this.

I saw the deal at cabelas for 500. Is that the same watch? The fenix has so many variants that it's a bit confusing for me

OLED screen is a must. Grab that apex gen 2 pro instead for $70 more with flash light

Do you mean Garmin Epix? If so, how are you getting it down to $500?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think this model is already sunset. Just gives you an idea of how good support will be.

Yeah I've heard alot of pissed 7pro owners saying they are not getting much software support anymore because all the new watches are on a new common software (Like Fenix 8, FR970, Ect)

What's our BF prediction on the Fenix line? I'd prefer silver though that seems much less common.

Sounds like I'm keeping my OG Fenix 3 HR then. Obviously they'll drop the f8 when the f9 comes out

Yep. That's why I went with a Coros Pace 4. Garmin has lost their mind.

My original Bip with the transreflective screen is gonna go with me to the casket.
