Definitely better in terms of price (I mean for Garmin!) Jokes aside, as a Garmin fan, I am quite concerned with ever increasing price that now far outpaces Apple's top end (they recently launched a $2000 watch). I am seriously considering switching to Apple Watch Ultra 3, but hesitant due to countless missing features (no continuous HRV, no body battery etc.). It seems I will need to subscribe at the minimum to Athlytic ($29 a year, which I don't mind) to get some good metrics, and even those are not as accurate as Garmin due to Apple's lack of continuous metrics tracking.

Battery life is literally 30 to 50+ times better on the Enduro vs Apple Watch. Apple watch you'll charge every other day at least, and even more so if you use it to record a GPS tracked workout. The Garmin will also be much more durable if it's exposed to real world environmental conditions.

This Garmin watch will last you 30 to 50 days or more in similar conditions depending on how much sunlight it's exposed to during that time. If you are out in bright sun all the time you could literally never charge this watch from the wall.

Keep in mind that these Garmin watches are sport oriented and that's the priority. Apple's watches are smart watches that can also be used as fitness trackers but they are geared more towards smart functions and to be an extension of your phone.

Me as well want a AU3 but still hesitant. This Garmin looks awesome on the battery and feature wise

Sounds awesome. AU3 they advertise can last 4 days but I think maybe 2 1/2 day at max.

A lot probably depends on how you use it and if you have AOD on. This is where a MIP screen is nice vs AMOLED. The screen is always on without any battery hit. Chooseca watch face without a seconds widget and your battery life will be insane since it only updates a few times per minute.

Sorry for my generic question, it's because I don't have any experience with any of them so I don't know what to like or hate on each one. I am planning to buy an Apple Watch Ultra 3 this Black Friday but those Garmins have more people liking them.

Enduro 3 and the Fenix 8 are the current lineup for Garmin. Epix Pro Gen 2 and your 7X are the previous generation. The EPG2 and your 7X are the same except the EPG2 has AMOLED screen.
I would just keep the 7X. The latest Fenix 8, and this Enduro 3, use the same gen 5 optical heart rate sensor as your 7X,
