Works great and I can't imagine going back to a standard toothbrush.
Battery life is awesome, brushing twice a day I get around 2 weeks of charge or so.
I've never let it die completely though so it would probably go longer.

For instance, the 4100 moves at half the speed of the 5100 even for basic cleaning as the 5100 has a better motor, meaning the 5100 will clean your teeth better than the 4100. Then with the 6100 you get stuff like adjustable intensity, and optimal cleaning modes based on the attached brush head. Then with 7300 you get "deep clean+" mode which has more aggressive movement than the 5100/6100, but it might irritate your gums which is why it isnt used by default. After the 7300 the models above that its pretty much just fluff features that are unrelated to the core cleaning power.
If you can get a deal on the 5100, that's prob the one with the best bang for buck, but it will still be like $50 even on sale. And all of these Sonicare toothbrushes seem to break in 2-3 years, even the most expensive models.
