The TCL QM6K Pro stands out as a bright 65 inch mini LED 4K TV with strong black levels, little blooming, and all four HDMI ports supporting HDMI 2.1 for gaming. The Costco version adds a reflective coating that helps with glare in sunny rooms, and the package includes a five year warranty that is hard to match elsewhere. The main tradeoff is that the coating can reduce brightness a bit, and the screen is still very reflective for some bright room setups. A few orders also needed customer service to fix the warranty credit, but the issue was being resolved.
Costco customer service can refund the extended warranty discount after purchase when the new TV price is lower than the attached warranty.
Costco can resolve warranty or price mismatches through chat or in-store handling after checkout.
The QM6K Pro's reflective coating can help fight glare in rooms with lots of windows.
The TV can deliver strong black levels and brightness for a somewhat sunny room without noticeable blooming in at least one month of use.
All four HDMI ports support HDMI 2.1 for flexible connectivity.
The extended warranty line item can show a lower per-unit amount than the displayed discount, requiring customer service to sort the warranty charge.
Google TV updates can trigger HDMI-ARC bugs with a Samsung soundbar, requiring a USB update to a newer version to get it working.
The Costco-exclusive Pro model's reflective coating can reduce brightness, which may be worse for rooms without glare issues.
A delivered unit can arrive with a black screen even though the TV powers on, which requires starting a Costco return.

I may still get 7k if there is a good deal leading upto bf but I am not sure it will be worth 2x the price of 6k. I hope the brightness is fine for my setup. Currently I am on Sony Bravia XBR9 52 inch purchased back in 2009 😀 as long as brightness is equal to old Sony i am not concerned
Also: sold out already...
$499 at Best buy too, just fyi to those without a Costco membership. Just less warranty

Replacing my Samsung 10 year old 50" LED that is mounted on top of a fireplace in my living room. I have a 65" c1 in my family room.
I am split between this and 48" LG B5 at around same price (https://slickdeals.net/f/18807016-lg-48-b5-series-oled-120hz-4k-smart-tv-best-buy-549-99). Looking if anyone has any opinion on which would be a better purchase. This would primarily be used for kids Youtube and some tv shows.
Edit:NM I see that the all state plan gets discounted
It should be noted that the Costco model is a slightly different Costco exclusive "Pro" model. It's the same TV, but with the reflective coating that's on the QM7K. It helps fight glare, but it also reduces the brightness. If you have lots of windows and have glare issues, the Costco model is slightly better. If it's in a room that doesn't suffer from glare issues, the Costco model is slightly worse.
