The 115 inch QM7K is being treated as a giant home theater TV that can replace a projector, with mini LED black levels that come surprisingly close to OLED and a picture that looks brighter and better than projection. The sheer size is the main draw, especially beside the 98 inch model, and the set is seen as a strong fit for light controlled rooms. The main drawbacks are the $9,999 price, heavy 200 plus pound handling, and a box nearly 10 feet long. It is a compelling option if you want projector scale without projector compromises.

  • Home theater builders replacing a projector, because the huge screen can deliver brighter images, stronger black levels, and a more immersive picture in a light-controlled room.

  • Movie fans who want a wall-filling display, because the 115-inch size is dramatically larger than a 98-inch set and can make a big room feel more cinematic.

  • Viewers who care about deep contrast on a giant TV, because the mini-LED backlight and dense local dimming can look very close to OLED.

  • Value-focused buyers comparing sizes, because the price gap over the 98-inch model is hard to justify for the extra diagonal inches.

  • Apartment dwellers or anyone with tight stairs, because the box is nearly 10 feet long and the TV may require removing stairs or special maneuvering.

  • Shoppers expecting a compact living-room upgrade, because the 115-inch panel is physically enormous and can be too long to fit through a basement stair run.

I'm in the same situation - 110" on a non-HDR projector and after upgrading my upstairs VT60 to a QM8K I don't really enjoy the projector anymore and can't wait to upgrade to a 98".
I love my QM7K 98". I'm tapped out at 100" though. I have a split stair case going to my basement theater and had to take out the upper flight of stairs and drop the TV thru them. 115" is 14" too long for me to try this again.

I need a new house 😄

I wonder when it will go back down to under 10k. I've been watching the price fluctuate between 11,999 to 13,999.

Giving this a bump. Price back to $9,999. Take note of the new 2026 TCL lineup. The X11L looks pretty damn amazing but no 115".
