I have a 120" projector in my basement. I wanted to upgrade it one day. Always thought I'd buy a better projector, but I'll probably replace it with a TV instead. Crazy

I'd stay projector. A TV wont ever feel like a theater due to direct light vs reflected.

I know. I've thought about that. I also have the problem of the center channel audio. It currently comes through my screen from an in wall speaker behind the screen. I've grown to love that experience.

A panel will always look better (and brighter) than a projected image though...
We are going to look back and laugh at these deals one day
I'm already laughing ~1800 for a 98"... 10k for 115"?? It's like the 97" OLED pricing. Just not making enough volume for there to be any economies of scale I guess.
I think projectors still have a place, at least for a little longer. One big problem with some of these large tv's is how much reflection they have. With a projector you can have a ALR screen and they work really well.
Now if you have a good light controlled room - yea I would likely go big boy screen and not a projector.
Just bought this two weeks ago at $11999. Hooray for price match!
I upgraded from an 83" OLED and have 0 regrets. the mini-led does an excellent job with black levels, and although the OLED is probably still a bit better for black levels, the difference is much much closer than I expected it to be. The massive size more than makes up for it and much better than any projector I've seen.
Still a lot to spend on a tv for sure, but I was cross shopping higher end home theater projectors and this seemed like it would be worth a little extra money for much better picture quality.

This price doesn't equal the size. Should be around $4000
