The 3D printing community likes them for all the small parts/tools for printer maintenance.
Community Reviews
This mini metal toolbox is best as a cute, compact organizer for small, valuable items like jewelry, watches, makeup, drill bits, office supplies, and tiny shop parts. The deeper top storage and drawers make it more practical than shallower mini chests, and it fits niche uses like 3D printer maintenance, machinist tools, or a desk and nightstand setup. The main drawback is capacity, since the small storage space can feel limited for the weight and there is no handle. Similar Harbor Freight, Lowe's, Menards, and Husky options were also cited as cheaper or better finished alternatives.
Common Questions (4)
The WORKPRO is 8 inches tall with a deeper top shelf and upper drawer, while the Harbor Freight version is 6 inches tall with shallower storage. Harbor Freight models are also described as having smoother ball-bearing drawers, anti-slip mats, thicker metal, and magnetic pull-shut, with some colors priced at $14.99 in-store.
It can hold jewelry, knives, watches, makeup, drill bits, office supplies, and other small items. It also works well for small parts and tools used in 3D printer maintenance or for lesser-used tools on a bench.
It is a novelty-sized box, but it can still be functional for small, valuable items and compact tool storage. The main limitation is capacity: it looks cute, but it may feel useless if you need to store many tools relative to its size and weight.
No handle is included on the referenced mini tool boxes. A handle would need to be added separately, such as by tack-welding one onto the sides.

Most are little versions of a full roll around and they are quite expensive if you can find one.
