If you are planning to replace an existing outlet with one of these just bear in mind that this outlet is probably deeper than what you are replacing and may not fit into the electrical box in the wall. Several reviewers report this problem.

I have enough trouble replacing standard outlets with GFI that I buy the slim profile GFI outlets.
