Yes, the price is good and it's also "TOTALMENTE NUEVO" (I don't know why their listing is in Spanish) . But if you like this configuration, I feel the current MicroCenter FP deal is a better value for $20 more.

$629 for the 16L when I saw it. Exact model was a Frontpage deal at $699 back in June (+32). I've seen that Spanish thing on eBay before and have no idea what causes it. The Microcenter deal is nice too, but pickup only (no shipping) so if you don't live near a Microcenter it's unavailable.

I'd be wary. I bought something from them last week. Was "shipped" in their system on last Monday, 11/10/25. Still waiting for it to show any movement. Support says I have to wait an additional 72 hrs before they will do anything.

Just be wary of these HP office machines if you want to do any future upgrades. The bios is totall locked so you can't assign an XMP profile and it doesn't have a resizable bar. The PSU is only probably 180w. So what this means in reality is most ram kits won't operate at there correct speeds unless you exactly match what comes with the machine. Most GPUs will also require a PSU upgrade which is also a nightmare as they are not typical. Forget any Intel GPU as the bios doesn't have a resizable bar. This is only good at the right price, I.e. less than $250.

I'm looking for a desktop for my parents to use fb, watch YouTube, and occasionally check their credit card & bank accounts. For these financial activities, I'm planning to install Ubuntu inside a VMware workstation to separate it from their general use as a safeguard against them clicking on bad links. The Ubuntu vm would only be on when they do these activities, and will be off normally.
Is this a good deal, or should I wait for black Friday? Thank you.

You've been here long enough too know, If it was a steal it would be sold out by now and/or on the front page. Mediocre deal at best.

I can show plenty of examples but the real steals are all sold out.
