Relevant info if considering buying these :

"There's a federal ban in the works for TP-Link routers with support from not just one but several federal departments and agencies. If successful, we could see networking devices from the company banned and blocked from sale in the United States. The reason? After a months-long risk assessment, investigators believe TP-Link products are a national security risk due to the vendor's ties to China, especially since routers handle sensitive internet data and connections. The ban, initially proposed by the United States Department of Commerce, has received additional support from agencies such as the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Defense.

While TP-Link Systems is a U.S. company based in Irvine, California, the manufacturer originally spun off from a China-based company called TP-Link Technologies. As such, many government officials are concerned that TP-Link Systems has ties to mainland China and that some former assets belong to the original Chinese operation. "

For what it's worth I had this router and it was awful. I returned it and instead opted for a UniFi Cloud Gateway Fiber and an access point for the same cost. The overall quality, control, and functionality on the UniFi stuff is light years ahead of this.

Simple things like sorting DHCP table by IP weren't option in this router, let alone any kind of advanced controls. Also, the WiFi antenna strength was laughable horrid - not even reaching outside of the 15 x 15 room it was in. I would strongly urge anyone interested in this to consider another brand/solution.

TP-Link's Wi Fi 7 lineup is praised for strong speeds, solid long term stability, and easy setup without needing an account for basic use. The Omada gear gets especially good marks as a more capable SMB and prosumer system, and some setups with wired backhaul or extenders have run well for months or years. The main knocks are weak range on several consumer models, occasional reboot or disconnect issues, and some features hidden behind a subscription. There are also recurring concerns about TP Link's U.S. ban risk and the listing's mesh 3 pack description being inaccurate, making this a practical but cautious pick.

  • TP-Link routers can run for years without reboot issues and can deliver stable Wi‑Fi performance.

  • TP-Link Omada systems can work well with wired backhaul and a local controller for multiple access points.

    kbrinaldikbrinaldi

  • Some TP-Link Wi‑Fi 7 models can improve real-world PC throughput by roughly half in small setups.

    Daneel

  • A TP-Link BE3600 setup can operate for months without freezing or rebooting when used with an extender for low-bandwidth devices.

  • Wi‑Fi range can be weak on some Wi‑Fi 7 TP-Link models, including poor wall penetration that forces band segregation.

    SlashinhoboBoatsandwhos

  • The listing description can be inaccurate about a "mesh 3-pack," which can lead to mismatched expectations for the included hardware.

    CrimsonSardine461CrimsonSardine461

  • TP-Link routers may require TP-Link account sign-in for full functionality, which can be a deal-breaker for some buyers.

    ThriftyHalibut157

  • Some TP-Link Wi‑Fi 7 units can show speed dips or repeated device disconnects tied to MLO until MLO is turned off.

I think the description is wrong. I don't believe this is a Mesh 3-Pack for either item.

Don't buy tp link. Going to be banned
Not saying you should buy it, but ban selling not equal to ban using.
