yeah, same here. I have a similar one from Harbor Freight and it runs out fairly quickly, but then you can't use it until it cools down after several minutes because it has a 'safety' lid that locks while temps are hight and doesn't unscrew to refill with water until it cools down.

I have the red Grant's brand from Harbor Freight. It works fine for my household use. I will get this one to compare both.

Remember to ONLY use distilled water in these steamers to prevent any issues.

does it become costly if using only distilled? what is the capacity per refill?

As an alternative, an available RO unit (without a re-mineralization stage) can filter enough dissolved solids to not plug the steam nozzles over time, depending on the TDS ppm of your district's water (monitoring results available on your water district's site, or you can measure yours with a TDS meter).

Running diluted vinegar through the steamer can help clean it out, but check the manual first, especially if resorting to CLR.
