I read yesterday that the 710 is worth the $20 more. I forgot the reason, but if you're thinking about this one, you may want to do some research on it before pulling the trigger.

More recent release and newer gen5 controller on the t710. The big gain is that the newer controller runs about 15c cooler than the t705 and uses less power, with higher IOPs and R/W than the 705. Worth the extra $20 imho. So I bought 2x of the 2tb T710's to balance OS and production workloads, which was actually cheaper than buying just 1x 4tb T710.

The other consideration here is it seems memory prices are spiking, which could affect DRAM based nvme's. So I locked in on the T710's as quickly as I could, 40% off was too good to pass up in these times.
