AirPods Pro 3 are drawing attention for stronger sound, better noise cancellation, and improved noise isolation, with some comparing them favorably to earlier AirPods generations. The fit also seems better for workouts and running, and the current price has been matched at Best Buy and other stores, with some stacking PayPal or Amex offers to push the total near or under $200. The main caution is that the upgrade feels minor if the previous generation is already in good shape, and the PayPal discount is not available to everyone. A solid value if the promo lines up and you want the newer tuning.
Deal hunters who can stack payment promos, because PayPal discounts can bring the total to around $200 all in.
Listeners upgrading from older earbuds who want stronger noise cancellation, because the sound quality jump and noise blocking are much better than Gen 1.
Yes. Using Best Buy with the PayPal 20% Pay Later promotion can bring the total to about $200 all-in after tax, and in one case to about $175 before tax. The offer is not available to everyone, so it may be YMMV.
Best Buy can price match the Brandsmart price for AirPods Pro 3, including online orders and in-store purchases. The matched invoice is reportedly valid for 60 minutes, so the checkout needs to be completed quickly.
If your previous AirPods Pro are still in good condition, the upgrade may not be worth it because the improvements are described as minimal. The main reasons to upgrade are better sound quality and stronger noise isolation, but battery life is also reported to be worse.
A lower price around $200 is expected by some shoppers, especially around Black Friday or Christmas. Costco is specifically mentioned as a possible source for $220 or $200 pricing, but the deal may also sell out quickly.
Too bad no $169 deal. That's how I bought the 1's and 2's 🥲🤣
Guess what... You can buy it right now for $175 (~$200 after taxes) at bestbuy using the paypal 20% promotion that is going on. Guess you getting the 3's then?
Wish I saw this comment earlier. I spent a long time today chatting with BB about getting the price match using PayPal to no avail. I decided to put in a PayPal order at BB's regular price and try to retroactively price match, but every time I tried start a new chat over the 6 or 7 hours I got "all agents are busy right now, try again later". Finally got a guy who told me he can't price match until I receive the item. Hopefully the Brandsmart price is the same tomorrow when I get the delivery
Or you could place another order now on bestbuy using paypal pay in 4 as the BB price is $220 just for today.
Already under $200 if you buy it from bestbuy using the 20% paypal promotion that is going on right now. Search slickdeals on how to get promotion working for paypal.
Do note that YMMV. I have PayPal and don't have that offer available to me.
Price is already below $200. If you use the paypal promotion/reward with bestbuy ($220 right now for APP3), you get 20% off using paypal pay later. Making this under $200.
Gonna be a lot of returns too for open box, esp from BeastBuy.
