I bought two of these kits from HD last month at this price with the intent to sell one blower and keep both batteries/chargers and the sell one of the rebate chainsaws. Instead, my kids fight over the blowers for blowing leaves so will probably keep them. Way more powerful than the Kobalt 40v brushed blower we have, and on par with an old Echo 403 backpack blower I bought used. Chainsaw rebates were approved within a couple days but take 4-6 weeks to ship.
Submission was pretty easy, took a photo of each receipt, the bar code on each box, and the serial sticker on each blower. https://www.makitatools.com/erebates BUY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING XGT® OPE KITS

Tx ranger shared details. Here is one of the threads. Simply search "makita 40v" to see other threads. I also bought the string trimmer kit for $199 and you can get a chainsaw by buying it. https://slickdeals.net/f/18676807
