I was hoping this wouldn't get posted so hopefully scalpers don't buy in bulk. But I was able to get
Alan Wake 2 - $15
Split fiction - $15
Tony Hawk 3+4 - $10
Assassin's Creed Shadows - $18
Star Wars Outlaws - $12

Came out to $75 total

This is one of the most creative gaming experiences I've ever had. A bargain at twice this price

Community Reviews

Split Fiction on PS5 is a strong Target clearance find when a store has it marked down, with some locations matching the $14.99 price and even adjusting it at the register. The game itself gets praised as one of the most creative gaming experiences, and the surrounding clearance wave includes other PS5 titles like Alan Wake 2, Tony Hawk 3 and 4, Star Wars Outlaws, and Visions of Mana at similarly low prices. The catch is that pricing is strictly store by store, and many locations still show full price or only the vague in stock, buy in store only tag. It is a very location dependent pickup, so checking nearby stores matters.

Common Questions (4)

  • Other discounted PS5 titles included Alan Wake 2 for $15, Tony Hawk 3+4 for $10, Star Wars Outlaws for $12, FF7 Rebirth for $14.99, Visions of Mana for $12, and Rise of the Ronin for $20. Several stores also had Bluey, Sea of Stars, Dead Space, and Silent Hill 2 at reduced prices.

  • No. The price is store-by-store, and some Targets show $14.99 while others still ring up at $49.99 or $50. The deal is highly YMMV, so it's worth checking nearby stores rather than assuming the same price everywhere.

  • Yes, it can be matched at some stores after an associate checks the price on a handheld device. In at least one case the game rang higher in-store, but the employee matched it to $14.99 after confirming the clearance price.

  • It can be a clearance indicator, but it is not guaranteed. Some stores with that label had the game on clearance, while others had the same label and no clearance pricing at all.

Stellar Blade is a fantastic game. That definitely counts as an awesome clearance situation; unless it wasn't discounted much.
It was 49 dollars. Not the best clearance.

Went to my local Target and they had one left in the back. I asked about it being discounted and they said it was $39.99. I mentioned the $15 dollar price and the employee asked me if it was a clearance price, to which I said I think so. He said that clearance prices are set by each store, but said he could match the $14.99 price after looking up prices on his handheld device.

Totally forgot to ask if they had any other games on clearance in the back because I didn't see any on the shelves.

I went to my local target this morning and asked about it. Rep also told me clearance prices are based on each store. When they scanned the game did it show $15 and they price matched? Or was it $50 and they were being nice about it. When they scanned it for me it was $50.

I'm grateful for this post. I wasn't able to find Split Fiction unfortunately which was the game I most wanted, but my store had Visions of Mana for $12, FF7 Rebirth and Alan Wake 2 for $17 each, and Rise of the Ronin for $20. Not bad.

It was $50 at my local Target. They had plenty of copies though.

But I did manage to pick up Dead Space for the PS5 for $20.

Yeah, I edited my original message to add more context. The price came up as higher for my store but after he looked in his handheld device thing he said he could match the $14.99 price.

Will the prices be advertised? Like if I walk to the section will they be on display, or do I have to ask the associate to scan things to see?
