Maybe if you usually watch in a dark room and don't mind the smaller size, but that's still running you $200 more I believe. Maybe consider the QM7K as well.

yea i missed out on that deal, but REALLLLY want something in the 50+" range, and this thing says 144hz? thats like a computer monitor isnt it?

I don't use TV too often but will watch the occasional show or Netflix. I'm looking for a new 55", don't won't to spend too much, but also want something that can last a few years. Is this a good buy, wait for something cheaper on BF, or save for something higher quality?

My wife wanted a TV console and a TV for a sitting room/office she converted from an un-used bedroom and between the sale of those two items and another $100 off, I feel like I got a good deal.
