I bought one and it was so extremely uncomfortable that I ended up returning it.

if you think you need this, take it from someone stuck in a wheelchair and buy a 3" thick pure latex cushion (with any sort of cover) yes it's expensive, but your ass will thank you, and it will be useful daily for the next decade. adding your own latex will also help extend the life of many a cheap office or gaming chair with a cushion that has failed long ago, while the rest of the chair is working just fine.

This is a low-cost ergonomic seat cushion aimed at adding firmer support for office chairs, cars, and hard folding seats. The shape and coccyx cutout can help with posture and pressure relief when the fit is right, and the price is attractive enough to make it an easy add-on. The main drawback is comfort: the cushion feels very firm for some builds, can make legs tingle or fall asleep, and a few found it worse than a regular pad. The checkout discount also appears inconsistent, so the final price may vary. A budget option if you want firm padding and the fit works for you.

Common Questions (5)

  • It can feel very firm, and some users found it uncomfortable enough to return. Others liked it because the firmness felt better than a softer cushion, so comfort seems highly dependent on body shape and preference.

  • For a cheap temporary fix, it can be much better than sitting on a hard metal folding chair. For long-term durability and comfort, commenters pointed to higher-end options like ROHO, pure latex cushions, or a better office chair.

    bakerzdosenJustin1983PetSpyFragster

  • The listing can show an additional 40% off at checkout, but it appears to be account- or checkout-dependent. Some carts still show the higher store price instead of the discounted deal price.

    insaneXprovalsocial_gamerhm677

  • It can work well in a car, especially on long rides when used with good posture and proper seat adjustment. Some buyers specifically liked similar cushions for car use, while others used them successfully at a desk.

  • The cutout design is intended to relieve coccyx pressure, but it can also make other pressure points feel worse if the cushion is too firm or doesn't match your body shape. Proper posture and weight distribution matter for it to help.

If you need a real quality pad that will last you decades, try to find a ROHO. They are not cheap, but they work amazingly well.

Can't comment on the seats in this post specifically, but I'm sitting on one of these right now:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D78SFK3CI bought two of those and two of these:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX3Y53DJGuys at work seem split on which they like better. Both types were around $15.But both are soooooo much better than sitting on a hard metal folding chair alone all day.If your only option is a crappy hard chair, I'm sure this will be markedly better than just the chair. If not, the ones I linked have worked well for us for the past 3 months.
which one is the better for you?

The cut out at the back is also so that you don't get hemorrhoids. If you sit on enclosed surfaces all day everyday you will get rhoids...

Yes, it's far too firm. My legs would tingle and fall asleep. The idea of the hole in the back for coccyx pain relief is nice and that's why I purchased it, but in reality ymmv since we aren't all shaped the same. I'm average size and weight and this just made everything else feel worse, defeating the purpose.
I know how this is going to sound, but don't have a bit butt or a Hank hill butt?

I bought the Purple brand one for like $40 a few years ago. Essentially the same thing you're talking about, I think, and yes, it's glorious.

i'm glad it worked out for you.

the problem i've learned with "memory foam" is it's a
meaningless term that can apply to just about anything.

What was the soft one? I have one from Qutool and it's too firm.

So I did end up buying the cushion from this deal to compare to the one I bought earlier, and my review is mixed. This seat cushion is more contoured and has a cooling gel layer, but the foam feels softer to me and I find it less supportive because of that (it gets compressed into a flat piece of foam after a few minutes). I'm not that heavy either, so I can only imagine that it would feel even less supportive for heavier people. The seat cushion I bought earlier is firmer but it doesn't become flat because of that, so I think I prefer it to this one. YMMV.
