I haveI have the series next size down. I think it's the 800 and it's fantastic in a bedroom. These are really good speakers. Now The speakers above the 1000 series are good for a small living room. They sound crystal clear. You will need a subwoofer to help fill in the bass. Plays music and movies very well. I hope this helps somebody.

Amazing that they are still selling these. I have them and they are good for home theater duties in a small to medium room. The build quality is top notch. What you pay for is the engineering (small size) and the build quality.
