I could be wrong but 60hz on movies should be fine. For sport and games, definitely need higher hz.

Dunno why this brand gets posted when it's always worse and always more expensive.

The actual testing always seems to rate hisense around 6.5. Which is the lowest I've seen and is accurate with being the only TV I ever thought to return or might give people headaches to watch.

I understand 6 years ago when it came out this TV was always 100$ cheaper. But I don't even classify those models as tv's. They were watercolor paintings that slowly dripped.

That's so corporate to say hz is for gaming. Last I used computers to game the pc couldn't handle pushing higher hz without playing old legacy games or setting the quality down so low it looked like an older console game anyways. Drop in 4k I was pushing 30fps.

So I never ran 4k and anything above 60hz at the same time. Rarely ran 4k and never above 60hz. And even then. Maxing gfx quality on new titles was probably no go to keep a steady 60hz.

Sports are broadcast in 60fps or less. So you are just doubling the same frames; if the hardware can actually pull it off without creating worse visual artifacts.
