The usb4 gives you an option of later using a eGPU so having some upgradability is nice

Confirmed, decent performance. You can also add an m2 to Oculink card and it works better than I expected.

Decent deal relative to what's available at the moment, but it's worth pointing out that this (markedly superior in several ways) system was recently on Aliexpress for <$300

Relatively high-end minipcs are often available for dirt cheap nowadays, so holding out for something better might be worthwhile if this is a major purchase or intended for long-term use.
