The Deco XE75 is a strong midrange Wi Fi 6E mesh system that stands out for coverage and value around $200. It is reported to cover a 3,100 square foot single story home better than an older Netgear Orbi Wi Fi 5 setup, and it has also outperformed Eero 6 and Google Nest WiFi 6E in another comparison. The units can work separately, but setup requires a TP Link account and can be buggy, with main unit switching described as awkward. It also lacks WireGuard VPN support, and there are concerns about future updates and a possible ban.

  • This Deco XE75 mesh system can cover a 3,100 sq ft single-story home better than a prior Orbi Wi‑Fi 5 setup.

  • The XE75 can be used as separate units rather than requiring a single combined mesh configuration.

  • A TP-Link WELCOME10 code can reduce the listed $199 price to $180 on the TP-Link website.

  • The XE75 can be compared favorably to the XE5300, with an RTINGS claim that the systems are identical.

  • Setup can require a TP-Link account and the initial device setup can be buggy.

  • Switching main units can be difficult after the system is configured.

  • The XE75 may lack WireGuard VPN support, which can limit VPN use cases.

  • The XE75 may be at risk of being treated as a brick with no more updates.

About a year ago, I replaced my old Netgear Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi 5 system with 5 satellites with this one.
This system only has 3 modules, but it works and covers much better than the Orbi in my 3,100 sq. ft., single-story house.
For $200, it's one of the best Wi-Fi 6E mesh router systems available today.

I have this system and my LG CX tv connected to it keeps dropping connection with the hardwired cord and works after I plug it in. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I don't have any experience with LG TVs. All four of my TVs are Samsung, two of which work fine on Wi-Fi, and the other two work through Apple TV streamers connected to satellites via a network cable. I would try testing your TV using only Wi-Fi, without a network cable. I would also try a different cable.

Not sure of the future, but this company is under scrutiny and may be banned in this country. I have many of their items and they are great. Kasa and the routers. Such a great hardware company.

Rtings rates this system as the best in mid-range price. It's identical to XE5300.

Got two of these for $110, they are pretty great so far, as the reviews state. Only issues I really have is requiring a TP link account to setup the device and setting up the device was buggy as hell. Switching main units is a pain in the butt.

Wow yea they are pretty much identical, this model has slightly worse 2.4 GHz bandwith. Also the 5300 is not on sale

Anybody know if this would be more effective than my Linksys Velop AC2200 modules?

I have XE75 pro , very close to this model and it has beat my Eero 6 and Google nest wifi 6e ( probably the worst mesh router out there).

However, i was bummed to find out it does not support wireguard VPN.

Other than that , this has been great for ~$200.

Just hoping tplink doesnt get banned in the US..

Not sure if I'd listen to the doom and gloomers. DJI, and TikTok was supposed to be banned in the U.S. also.... Look how that's going...
