If it was the pro at this price I'd jump on it, but I think I'll hold off for a pro deal or seagate ironwolf pro.

I mainly use shucked or recertified SPD drives in my machines, but damn... 12tb for $200 was the standard, 5 or so years ago.

$70, 12tb, WD refurb w/5 yr warranty were the days.

I just picked this up off Amazon: Western Digital 14TB WD Red Pro NAS Internal Hard Drive HDD - 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, CMR, 512 MB Cache, 3.5" -WD142KFGX

It's $269 BF deal, but it's the Pro drive with helium, so it's quiet and not power hungry. 14TB instead of 12TB. What makes the deal slick is Amazon is offering 10% cashback if you use their card (which is all I use).

Good deal. I opted for this though: WD Red Pro 14TB for $269. Amazon has a 10% cashback or it if you use their card. The WD is supposedly quieter, which is a concern for my use case. Other than that, there's not a whole lot of difference between IWP and Red Pro.
