For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

You should change the the title to P2S Combo. At first, I didn't understand why this was a good deal, but it is fantastic since it comes with the AMS2.

I was set on the H2C, but after seeing the price of over $2500, it just doesn't make sense when you can get these for this price
100% you'd have to waste a ton of filament due to purge for it to earn back the $1800 difference. I'm not in a hurry, if a print takes 18hrs vs 6hrs im not bothered about it.

i do want a h2s for the larger printing volume, but coming from a X1C its not really worth the $ to upgrade for the larger print area. If i was buying my first one, id definitely get it though

So glad I found this deal! Was about to get the P1S but with the 20% cashback it's only about $50 more. A no brainer!

How do you know the Cashback is actually going to work? I've been burned by PayPal before with similar deals

I've been trying hard not to buy the new P1S combo ever since the Black Friday deal dropped, even though the P1S combo had the big discount. Now that the P2S is finally available in the U.S., the temptation is real. The PayPal 20% cashback offer pushed me over the edge — I added a few accessories and the total came out to around $1,000 after tax, but with the cashback I'm actually paying slightly less than I would've without the deal. Great post, OP!
Did you pull the trigger? Don't keep us hanging. Smilie

Huh, not seems the Pay Later option, just the Pay in 4, which looks like also qualifies for the 20% once the deal is activated.

Be careful. If you use Pay Layer and charge it to a credit card, most likely, it will be coded as cash advance. You may end up paying cash advance fee and interest.
Anyone can confirm this?

Could H2S work with this or too expensive?

I'm very tempted to pull the trigger. But I really want my next printer to be a multi-head unit. The H2C would be nice if my budget would allow it lol. I'm going to wait for some more feedback on the Snapmaker U1 and maybe I will go with that.

Side note, I see like the P1S, this has the external spool holder in the back. I think the side would be much more convenient with easier access than the back. I wonder why they don't put it on the side. Seems like most P1S owners printed a side adapter (including myself).
