For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

I bought the X1C like you did but I will keep them both.
Only reason i am not is the x1c support ends a little early. I had the p1s before the x1c and had far less issues with it. I had to change the print nozzle on the x1c a couple weeks ago... More time consuming that it really should be. But its an older machine. Great machine at the end of the day... Only reason I am returning is because I can. I do not have the room for two either.

I would love to see a followup from you. I was thinking of keeping mine until the weekend... But I just finished boxing it up and will drop it off if I decide to go to the office today.

The p2s is like an upgraded x1c... but I believe the headed bed or something with heat is different... I am risking losing something with this.

I don't have the pay later option, but someone said the pay in 4 worked, can anyone confirm?

For me, clicking on "Pay Later" brought me to 2 options, the Pay in 4 and then one where I pay monthly (so the Pay in 4 was my Pay Later option). I did the Pay in 4 and can confirm it worked and I see the pending points in my PP account.

Damn i just bought the P1S with AMS 2 for 600. Is it worth returning for this?
Ugh same here, how does the return work to bambulabs though, I bet we have to pay shipping and that is not going to be cheap!

I checked their site and it's going to cost about 60 bucks, you lose the original shipping charge plus the return shipping is going to be about 50.

Ugh. I caved too early on the P1S...now I am having regrets. Was expecting the price to be a lot higher.
P1S is still a great deal IMO.

Confirming that I'm seeing "17390 points pending" when paid with PayPal Pay in 4.

I also went through a cash back site that had a 5% return that's already pending. R

Unfortunately doesn't work for my Chase CC, but works on my Chase checking account. There should be no difference other than not getting 1% back on my card then right?

Also, can you pay it off early or do you need to let the 4 payments go through before you can get the 20% cash back?
