For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

Ordered the combo and 10 spools of filament. The points showed up as pending in Paypal right away. After the Paypal cashback, the filaments are about $10 each, great deal!
Did you buy Bambu filament?

Same - really hoping Best Buy restocks before December 8th. Rather buy from them then Bambu. For those who did buy from Bambu, how was your experience?

FYI, shipping for me is 11 days. I wish they could have estimated that pre purchase. I would have bought it at best buy.
Where are you located? Ordered Friday, arriving tomorrow (Tuesday), so basically 2 days. Shipped from Socal and Im in NorCal

I don't see that in any of the emails, and paypal sent like 8 of them...

One of the emails even has a "Click here and you could get 20% cash back on your next purchase" link..
On PayPal website, go under the menu "Rewards" then scroll down until you see "Rewards Acitivity". It should show your pending points there too.

This is so frustrating. I am ready to buy the printer via BB, but when I go to checkout via PayPal, the Pay in 4 option is just not there.

I looked at my bank statement and it showed as a "recurring loan advance credit card paypal transaction". I contacted my bank to ask if it is a cash advance transaction and if I will get charged a cash advance fee. I was told that it's not a cash advance. Its just a transaction using the Visa card.

I had the same issue. I checked every few hours until the "Pay in 4" option became available again

I think I am screwed. I ordered P2S from best buy and they canceled my order and they said it will take at least 72 hours to refund. Don't buy from best buy! I don't think it is possible to re-instate the 20% cash back, right ? By the time paypal get the refund, promotion likely will be over.

You might as well buy from Bambu if they take PayPal

Seems like maybe my post didn't post or got removed but that offer you're waiting on won't work on Bambu it's excluded like Apple - I know this from experience at BB and buying Bambu

Received my printer today and have done two trial prints so far. Both have been great. I'm on a third now to try out the multi-color printing.
