Great deal! I picked up two 10TB drives. Oddly, ordering two together only gave me one discount, so I had to place the same order twice.

yeah that's why I went with the 14TB external instead for $169 instead seems to be best bang for money atm and not gonna get any better with tarrifs and AI hogging up all large storage!

Are hard drives ever faked? I stopped buying SD cards on amazon after receiving a confirmed fake, despite shipped and sold from Amazon.

No. Also the SD cards faked have been via third party sellers. I've never had an issue with numerous purchases via manufacturer seller or Amazon as seller. I know people say it's mixed inventory and it can still happen but I think all that is extremely overblown compared to reality when ordering from the sellers I mentioned.

Overblown or not I am skeptical because I am not a high volume reseller but on Amazon I have received fake "expensive" headphones, name brand SD card, and even silly things like loctite and for all of these I confirmed it with the manufacturer. These are the ones that stick off the top of my head so for a lot of things where it matters I've switched to big box stores where I have no chance of third parties soiling the deal.
