These open box AirPods Pro 3 are drawing the most attention for their fit, sound, and the chance to land them near $160 with the PayPal Pay in 4 cash back offer. The earbuds are described as a big upgrade over AirPods Pro 2, with a much better fit, and several units arrived looking pristine with matching serial numbers and active AppleCare coverage. The main caution is eBay risk, since AirPods listings can include fakes or used returns, and the PayPal promo did not work for every checkout. A solid open box option if the discount and protection details line up.
people who want to buy open-box AirPods Pro 3s under $200 and are willing to stack PayPal checkout offers because PayPal Credit/Pay in 4 worked for one buyer and the final price after rewards points came out to about $161, plus they reported getting 1-year free protection.
buyers who are comfortable verifying authenticity and warranty details on open-box AirPods because commenters reported serial numbers matching across the box/case/earbuds and warranty showing through specific dates, making the open-box unit feel "completely legit."
people who already own iPhones and want to confirm AppleCare+ status after purchase because multiple commenters said AppleCare+ showed in the Settings app (after pairing/validation), which helped them feel more confident the unit wasn't fake.
AirPods Pro 2 owners upgrading for better comfort because one commenter said AirPods Pro 3 is a big upgrade with a much better fit compared to Pro 2.
people who plan to buy AirPods from eBay without strong trust in the seller because commenters warned they received fake AirPods Pro 2 from another eBay seller and now only buy from Apple or major retailers like Best Buy/Target.
people who specifically need PayPal Pay Later to work on eBay because multiple commenters said the PayPal Pay Later promo wasn't available for this deal on eBay or didn't work at checkout even after enabling it in PayPal rewards.
buyers who want to avoid any risk of counterfeit or used-earbud issues for only a small discount because one commenter said it's not worth the risk of fakes/used returns when they'd rather wait for under-$200 new from major retailers.
shoppers who rely on Pay in 4 being available every time because one commenter said Pay in 4 wasn't available for their purchase until they reviewed the offer terms, and they noted YMMV.
