These open box AirPods Pro 3 are drawing the most attention for their fit, sound, and the chance to land them near $160 with the PayPal Pay in 4 cash back offer. The earbuds are described as a big upgrade over AirPods Pro 2, with a much better fit, and several units arrived looking pristine with matching serial numbers and active AppleCare coverage. The main caution is eBay risk, since AirPods listings can include fakes or used returns, and the PayPal promo did not work for every checkout. A solid open box option if the discount and protection details line up.
PayPal Pay in 4 with rewards points reportedly reduced the final cost to about $161 after pending rewards points.
Some open-box units reportedly arrived with matching serial numbers across the box, case, and earbuds and showed warranty coverage.
AirPods Pro 3 reportedly provided a noticeably better fit compared with AirPods Pro 2 models.
Some units reportedly showed AppleCare+ coverage in the settings app through 2028, suggesting prior coverage may have been added before return.
PayPal Pay Later reportedly did not work for this eBay deal after enabling the offer in rewards and reaching checkout.
AirPods purchases on eBay reportedly carry a counterfeit risk, including reports of receiving fake AirPods Pro units from other sellers.
Pay in 4 availability reportedly depended on checkout offer terms, and it was not available for some purchases until terms were reviewed.
Open-box purchases reportedly may include AppleCare+ status that is unclear, since AppleCare+ can appear in settings even when the item is a return.
