Careful if you live in Wisconsin or Michigan - Republicans currently have bills crafted to ban VPNs.

Just gonna put this out there.. If you know windscribe you know they're a bit of a quirky company, last year they had their usual strange video on Nov 20th and usually on a wall in a scene or something is a special code where you can get a further discount. I managed it last year and now I'm on $19/yr for life. I think the discounts are first come first serve so you have to be quick, but if you can get it it's a pretty decent deal for a good vpn company.

Well, their ultimate goal is a nation porn ban ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0noIS9lmR0Y ), they are using state legislature like the bills in Texas, Wisconsin and Michigan as attack vectors. These people don't understand technology very well, but they know enough that VPNs are typically used to get around these bans, so that's why they are proposing a ham-fisted blanket ban on VPNs.

It remains to be seen if they know how critical VPNs are to many industries and how they would write the law knowing this information.. Hopefully these bills get shut down before they see the light of day, because this is going to be a massive headache for many people and businesses for what amounts to an ineffectual ban.

I have the VPN Unlimited - KeepSolid lifetime VPN for several years from a previous deal. I had Windscribe prior to that. I'm not a heavy user so my instincts tell me that KeepSolid is all I need. I don't do any overseas stuff or Netflix, just use it for privacy when my guts tell me it might be advantageous. No questionable or illegal stuff.

My question to the more seasoned users is this: Is there any advantage to having both Wind and Keep? Is one generally better than the other? If so, which one? Thanks

Anyone knows how this works if I already have pro until 2028?
To answer my own question, the credit stacks, and it locks in the price, I'll be charged when the credit runs out. Now I need to decide if $29/year is worth it, since I only use it a few times a year

I'm using Windscribe in America on my iPad and logged into a very remote US server. Shows VPN sign at the top of the iPad. I then open a fully closed app and hit allow location services while using the app. It still shows my exact true city on the app. Isn't this supposed to be telling the app I'm in that other city?

Do they offer lifetime? Is there limitation on GB? The free one has 10 GB limit per month
They do not offer lifetime, and there is no limit on GB.

I have KeepSolid and Windscribe, and I personally prefer Windscribe - more servers, faster speeds, some nicer options in the apps. Keepsolid is fine, so if it suits your needs you might not need another.

I already have SurfShark from last year's Black Friday sale, which was $56 for 28 months. The best part is that it supports 10 devices.

WindScriber's lifetime offer is quite tempting. What are the chances of getting a lifetime offer if I purchase a subscription this year?

Toitally agree. This is one of my "god tier" VPN's (though I know some lists don't consider it so because it's in Canada, a five-eyes country). But tne only VPN's I ever recommend to friends are Mullvad, IVPN, ProtonVPN and Windscribe. Windscribe being the cheapest of the 4, but being in my list because they take privacy seriously (audited, servers run in RAM, no logs, all the latest cryptography (wireguard with quantum resist) good option for apps on all the popular stores, plus you can download configs if you want to run a generic app or on your home router).

Don't think anyone can go wrong with Windscribe.

I also bought the lifetime and use it daily. Windscribe will honor the lifetime but they low key regret offering it so I kinda doubt they will ever again. Every so often they send out emails with something to the likes of.... hey this email is to those of you who were big brained and got in on the super smart deal of a lifetime! And then advertise some bonus features that those without lifetime would have to pay extra for. A bit tongue in cheek but also informative but also low key "you should feel lucky".

That said they've been a solid VPN for my multiple devices. Money well spent indeed.

They will never offer lifetime.
Windscribe allows unlimited devices, there is no 10 device limit. Smilie

They did offer lifetime like 6-7 years ago but that's never coming back
