This Apple eGift card promo was mainly attractive as a way to stretch Apple spending with a $15 Best Buy bonus card, and the Apple card can be used for apps, subscriptions, refurbished devices, and even toward an iPhone purchase. The bonus card eventually worked, though it took a little while to become usable. Purchase limits were tight, with separate orders required and reports of caps around one per order and two per 24 hours. Amex and PayPal promo credits were inconsistent because gift cards were excluded in the terms, so any extra cashback was not guaranteed.
The Apple gift card can be used for digital items like apps and subscriptions.
The promotional Best Buy eGift card can take time to become usable but may work after processing.
Using PayPal Pay in 4 reportedly produced 20% back plus credit-card points.
Best Buy gift cards included in the deal reportedly do not expire, unlike reward certificates.
Amex cashback offers reportedly exclude Best Buy gift cards, which can prevent the expected $25 back.
Best Buy checkout reportedly enforces order limits that can block additional gift card purchases.
Best Buy orders reportedly can get stuck in processing for hours or up to about 24 hours.
PayPal Pay in 4 promotional points reportedly may not clear when the purchase involves gift cards.

I do what you do w/iPhones it's not wasteful … it's the cheapest way to buy/sell iPhones! I do the 246gb pro max yearly … $1,000 net, sell,iPhone net $900 or more on Swappa!
i buy apple care 2 years upfront too w/counted a couple gift cards also, then when I sell the phone, Apple gives me a refund at full price for the second year. It ends up being 40% off the AppleCare plus! I do the theft and loss insurance. It's much better than my homeowners policy and when I travel, I need the iPhone replaced right away so it's the best deal going. This year it seems they might only do an annual subscriptions not two years upfront, so next year I will pay for the subscription for year two, via Apple gift cards added to my subscription account Apple ID, before I sell the phone and do the refund at full price.

I just tried a 3rd GC card on my first account and checkout went through but it's still stuck in processing a few hours later and still hasn't gone through.
I was using different email, same billing address and different card. Any suggestions what I should do differently?
