Yes, I will call you crazy and say that you're missing a LOT of things.

A tablet+bluetooth for joysticks and controls is not the same as a full handheld device.

This is a complete device that you can pick up and play with, then put away. It is EXTREMELY more portable.

Why would you want to hack together something and then use a TV or a monitor to display it? The whole point is that it's portable and compact.

This isn't a solution to replace PC gaming or console gaming. So you need to stop looking it through that type of lens.

Ordered an open box excellent for $505 + tax and used the PayPal Pay in 4 20% cash back promo. Hopefully it's actually in excellent condition when I pick it up tomorrow.

Just posted in the other topic that has the Z2 Go in the title but they're both part of the same sale. Honestly that one shouldn't be slept on either; yeah the Z2 Go is weaker but $368-396 is nothing to sneeze at considering it'll get you similar results to an Ally X (the Z1E version here, closer to an Xbox Ally X). You might have a better chance finding the Z2 Go models though since it's not as popular, at which point go and enjoy the Paypal discount while you're at it. For around $300 net it's a fair consideration. I've got a desktop so if I want stronger games I'll just use that, which is what I would've done with the more expensive version anyway.

Got this for my birthday last month for full price, $900 plus tax. It's worth it.

My only complaint is that the RAM stays at 512MB even when choosing Auto or 16GB. Waiting for Lenovo to fix that.
Regardless, it works fantastic.
You must must must get Lossless Scaling app from Steam for about $8.
If you don't know what that is, Google it. For handhelds it's just a must.
