ANC on the xm4 is better, but the sound quality is much better on the Senheiser, I also think the M4 is more confortable than the sonys

I have had these for 2 years or so, easily the best sound quality of any BT headphones in this price range. Noise cancelling is decent but if that's what you're most concerned about the boses are better

Thanks OP! Missed out on the $200 Amazon deal and was waiting for black Friday deals. This is even better and available for pickup at my local Best Buy. Black is $200 FYI, but will try out the denim.

I've owned a pair of these for about a year. They sound amazing, anc isn't great but it works okay. Top of head comfort is good however the over ear comfort was not very good for me. About 2 months in I found some replacement ear pads that were thicker and used denser foam and it was a huge upgrade.

The Sonys boast better audio quality and noise cancellation, but the Senn M4 has one feature that beats the XM4 and 5 for me: the ability to listen via BT while charging.

Repost from last time these were up on here.

TLBig GrinR They're not worth it. They have great sound quality but fail in every other metric, and they're unreliable.

Bought these over the summer and they're just not worth it. The sound is decent and even the noise cancelling isn't bad, but every other aspect sucks.

The touch controls are way too sensitive to the point where when my arms go above my head there's a decent chance my shoulder is going to touch the pad and it'll detect some gesture. They randomly turn on when I have them in my bag. Even when trying to turn them off, sometimes they'll turn right back on. They really struggle with 2 connections. Of course any headphone has issues if you try to listen to 2 sources at once. That's not the issue. I mean to say, if 2 devices are connected and one is playing music and the other is not doing anything, sometimes they'll favor the idle device. They'll randomly try to connect to old devices; leading you to basically need to re-pair every time you want to use them. They fall of your ears/head way easier than any other pair I've owned. The touch gestures sometimes just don't work. And the most annoying this is the distance. My old sennheisers could probably handle 30-40 ft no problem and still had crystal clear audio. These start to degrade audio quality after more than 15 feet away.

I could go on but they're just a bad experience. I'd highly recommend getting anything else in the same price bracket.

Where'd you get the denser ear pads from ?

Yea, it kinda sucks it's only blue. I've been waiting for these headphones and was hoping it would apply to white and other colors. Ig they have a lot of blue to get rid of
