FWIW, I got this deal last time around when Walmart price matched. Amazon had a long wait, and Walmart had it delivered in a day or two. It's been a good drive, so far.

The gold is rated for higher writes and read per year, maybe somewhere around 500TB per year (think servers) and these are probable in the low 100s. So different usage and whether or not it's active 24/7. If you're doing just regular consumer level stuff like backing up files and storing pics and "normal videos", this should do.
