Is this a good backup battery to power a newer refrigerator in an emergency power outage? Obviously not for a multi-day situation, but for a number of hours?

both are 1024Wh, Bluetti has 1800W AC Outlets (3600W Surge), and SOLIX 2,000W (Peak 3,000W).

Wow got this a month ago and used it once. Ran out of juice way too fast. I wish I would have gotten at least a 2k battery. Also this is a dick move to already be this much cheaper.

Highly varies by refrigerator. They can use 750watts to 1400watts per hour. You'd probably get a day out of it and if you have a small solar panel you'll get more time.

How do you get a day? Wouldn't it ne 1.3 hours for 750w refrigerator assuming 100% efficiency?

With a 2000W continuous and 3kW surge current, it would be able to handle the startup surge of the motor. My full-size refrigerator draws about 200W when it's running, so if you didn't open the door and let out the cold air it might last for a day. I suspect you would want to hook up an external 12V LiFePO4 battery for longer running.

On a side note, I'm glad that some of the marketing departments stopped calling them "solar generators" and switched to "power stations".

Most power outage in US last less than 12 hours. One thing to remember is to turn off the ice maker when you have a power outage and don't use the water dispenser if you have one. This should last at least 12 hrs.
