I think when you consider the cost of this vs. the cost of the Arc Ultra, this is the smarter purchase.. unless you're putting it in a room that's so big that the Ultra would benefit it more (but that's not most people).

Think about it this way... you're basically paying 2.75x cost for a product that is, maybe 10-20% better?

I own the Arc Ultra and the Arc is still very good. The Arc is larger than the Beam 2 and so it has a more full sound all around. And at only $399, it's an excellent deal!

So before making the payment, make sure you save the PayPal offer in your PayPal account.
In you PayPal account, find the %20 cashback offer and there will be save button. Save the offer and while checking out select pay in 4 option. After you checkout you will see %20 percent of the transaction will show as pending point in your PayPal account.

First thing is I belive it will be vested after 4 payment is completed. I am also not sure in that. After it is vested, you can use it anytime when you check out with paypal. It will show you pay with points option. 8559 points will be $85.59

Such a good deal, I picked up two of these. My intent was to replace a Beam Gen 1 set up with a sub mini and a pair of Era 100's, and add an Arc to another TV. Hooked up the first Arc and sounded like it had a blown speaker, so that one's getting returned. Hooked up the 2nd one and unfortunately, was not impressed. The dialog was much worse than my Beam. I really wanted to like the Arc, the wider soundstage was nice, but not at the expense of clear dialog and an overall tinny sound. After running Trueplay, and changing multiple settings to help with the dialog, I ultimately boxed it up and am returning that one as well. Hopefully Sonos will be coming out with the Beam Gen 2's replacement soon. Just not going to pay a premium to jump up to the Arc Ultra.

Thanks for your input! I was considering jumping from the beam 2 to the arc. I'll hold on to the beam 2 a bit longer.
