I can only compare Bose QC 1 gen and AirPods pro 2 as I own both. Fitment is very personal, some ppl like QC but for me AirPods are more comfortable. Bose sounds better for sure, but not by much. My friend who is very musical prefers Bose. Big problem with bose is connectivity. It is usually ok, but when it is not ok it's such a PITA. AirPods have much better case, connect faster, more stable, the microphone for calls is MUCH better. The way AirPods work with multiple devices in night and day, granted all my devices are apple. Noise cancellation is slightly better in Bose, but depends on what environment you're in. For biking for example Bose is really unusable because of the wind noise. All in all, I use airpods almost exclusively in my day to day life because of comfort and connectivity. I guess the current gen is very similar.

If you want AppleCare, it's still better to get Costco for $249 with AppleCare included

If order from Walmart, plus members get free 1 day shipping.
Choose payment method pay later with PayPal (4 interest free payments) and get 20% cash back from PayPal. Make sure you activate the PayPal offer under rewards.

You can also have a rewards credit card for payment through Paypal and get additional cash back from the credit card company and do a link from something like Top Cashback into the Walmart site for more cash back.

Community Reviews

AirPods Pro 3 stand out as a strong upgrade for Apple users, with excellent noise cancellation, a snug foam tip fit, fast device switching, and much better call quality than older AirPods. The comments also highlight solid isolation for noisy places, plus useful extras like translation and heart rate sensing. On the deal side, Walmart and Best Buy can stack with PayPal or Amex offers, and Apple has a $50 gift card promo. The main cautions are that fit can be hit or miss, the sound focused crowd may prefer cheaper alternatives, and counterfeit risk matters on marketplace listings. A good pick if you want the Apple ecosystem perks.

  • buyers who plan to use PayPal at checkout to try for the 20% cash back because commenters describe activating the PayPal offer and then selecting PayPal "Pay Later" during Walmart checkout to make the discount apply.

    MLK2000caldvnShadowx055

  • iPhone users who want the easiest multi-device switching and more reliable call mic performance because commenters say AirPods Pro 3 connect faster, pair more stably, and switch between Apple devices "in night and day," with a "MUCH better" microphone for calls.

    wiseghostRichC8284

  • people shopping at Walmart who can stack an Amex Platinum offer because one commenter says there may be an additional 25% off up to $25 off on Walmart.com purchases when you have the Amex Platinum offer.

    BrodeurSDBrodeurSD

  • shoppers who want a snugger in-ear fit for active use because commenters say the foam-infused tips on Pro 3 create a snugger fit than Pro 2 and help them wear the earbuds for lots of activities (including sleeping and even shower use).

    RichC8284RichC8284

  • people who need strong isolation in loud outdoor settings because one user says they can listen to podcasts while mowing or using a leaf blower, and another says the ANC performs strongly in noisy environments.

    RichC8284

  • people who want to buy without doing the PayPal checkout steps because commenters say you may need to select the Pay Later option (and sometimes remove PayPal from the Walmart account) for the deal to work.

    caldvnquickslickster

  • people who only care about sound and ANC and don't need Apple-specific features because one commenter says if you're only worried about sound/ANC, to skip these and buy Soundcore Liberty 5 for $90 instead.

    ZepLed

  • runners who are sensitive to fit-related clicking because a commenter reports occasional right-ear clicking feedback when running, which they attribute to seal movement.

    RichC8284

  • buyers who were counting on the Walmart PayPal 20% offer if it's no longer available to them because one commenter says the PayPal 20% cashback for Walmart "is dead."

This or the AirPods Pro 2 for $80 less?
I keep coming back here to see if there is some insane deal on the 3s after picking up 2 pairs of 2s for $80 less each. One for the wife and an upgrade for me. She currently has the gen2 airpods and I have gen1 airpod pros so I feel like the savings of $160 between the two or basically paying $20 more for 2 pairs makes sense for me.
Just sold my Gen1 pros for $60 cash after 5ish years of use I think and getting them on the Meijer spoof deal for like $150 OTD. They didn't owe me a dime.

I just want earbuds with really great phone call quality, where people don't have any trouble hearing me. Are these the best for that, or what should I get?
In my experience these have no issues with people hearing your voice. I use these in airports on my Iphone but also on my Dell laptop with no complaints. Speaking of Gen1's so I have to imagine it's only better on these Gen3s.

If ordering through Amazon, can you add the custom text on the case?

Also, I got burned twice from fake airpods. Sold and shipped by Amazon, don't trust...but it DOES link to the Legit Apple store with the same link/product so all should be good...

I believe there was a post recently that had the price at a much lower price, albeit you had to use Uber gift cards and have a driver deliver it. I'm guessing 90% of delivered items from a random driver are counterfeit. BTW, they are VERY hard to tell apart.

I got it for $155 plus tax / tip over the weekend by order it from BestBuy via UberEats app and purchased $200 UberEats giftcard from Costco for $160.

With the Amex offer - 25% off from Walmart, I think this deal comes out to about the same.
