Sony's WH 1000XM6 like new listing stands out as a strong way to get the model for far less than new, with prices landing around $248 to $287 after discounts and tax. The XM6 is praised for fixing the XM5 hinge and compact folding issues, and it can play audio over Bluetooth or 3.5 millimeter while charging through USB C. Several arrivals came with original packaging, all accessories, and no scuffs, though some units showed battery charge around 74 to 90 percent. The main risk is condition and fulfillment, with reports of missing cables, broken hinges, and even wrong models like XM5 or XM3 in the box, so the deal hinges on a careful return process.
Shoppers comfortable with resale-condition risk for a big discount, because the used price can be far below new and still arrive complete and working.
Office listeners who want strong noise cancellation and wired backup while charging, because the headphones can play over Bluetooth or 3.5mm during USB-C charging.
Travelers who want a foldable over-ear pair, because the hinge design is described as fixed and compact compared with earlier models.
Shoppers expecting the exact model in the box, because resale orders can arrive as a different headphone model entirely.
Buyers who need a guaranteed complete package, because used units can arrive missing cables or other accessories.
People who need a flawless hinge for daily folding, because the hinge can arrive broken or be reported as a recurring weak point.

I got $80 off after registering my AMEX Plat. Used $0.01 rewards points and still got the "50% off" promo.

Got them today and its a very apparently used damaged box pair of xm5's. I couldnt be more frustrated seeing that. Now have to set up a return and refund and just hope they dont blame me for the return scam.
...What makes it sting significantly more though is that I saw a flash deal today on ebay for a BRAND NEW set of xm6 for $320, then the offer for paypal pay in 4 20% off on top of that, bringing a NEW PAIR down to $256.
I had this in my cart and DIDNT buy it cause I had these from amazon coming today. They sold out a stock of only 12 in seconds or minutes and i thought Oh well, at least I snagged a pair at a similar price and hopefully "mint" as they were labeled is true as to the condition. Then I checked later and I happened to catch a restock and had that in my cart at checkout too. Then they sold out with a grand total of 18 sold.
It wasnt until hours later that I got the delivery and opened the xm5s.
To make is hurt even more, I was supposed to get the xm6 from amazon Saturday, but on Saturday they said there is a delay at warehouse and it got moved to today. If I had gotten them Saturday, even if they were the bogus xm5's I could have returned them by now and got the deal for the brand new xm6 at $256 I'll never get again.
Such a silly thing in the scheme of things but this purchase sucks. Besides missing out on the 256 for a new pair because of this purchase, I now need to make a trip to a UPS store and return these xm5's and just hope? I dont get charged for the switcheroo.
Thanks amazon.
