This may not be the full answer but firstly watch has a display and can do more things like music, display while exercising etc.

For the sleep, heart rate etc you are going to get the same information. The only exception is that Samsung has no paywall. To get the same full data as Samsung you will need the subscription eg variable heart rate, deep sleep etc.

The pro for the ring is the form factor, rings are better than watches for measuring core metrics. some people don't like sleeping with watches etc.

I dont think it will work. I was the guinea pig. Oura is not mentioned in the transaction that posts to Amex card. The pending charge is Paypal BNPL so unless the posted charge is radically different , no way its going to get the Oura credit.

Just an FYI, this deal does not stack if you have a clear account. The 10% discount that comes with being a Clear member only applies to regular prices.

Also, if it helps to anyone who wants to know their ring size prior to ordering and you have a local Costco by you, they usually have an oura ring demo set up and they have all the ring sizes there to try on.
