At least Walmart deal is still active and I like that Walmart's 4-year extended warranty plan is cheaper than everywhere else.
Debating between new TX-RZ30 or used Denon x3500h for $300. Denon has Audyssey XT32 but Onkyo has Dirac Live included, more channels, and HDMI 2.1. Decisions, decisions.

You can get the same Dirac performance(including DLBC) with A1EVO for free with the 3500.

So do you NEED the extra two channels and or 2.1?
Oh really? I'm familiar with REW but didn't know about A1EVO and will look into it. I was considering the recent sale on an x3800h to have both Audyssey and Dirac options, but the added Dirac cost kind of makes it impractical.
The x3500h seller locally isn't very responsive so I hope it isn't a scam.
Thanks! There's no option for an extended warranty through EE. For a high-ticket item like the RZ30, do you think it needs one? Maybe just rely on the extra year coverage from my Cap1 card.

That's what I usually do. This is new in box for an RZ line receiver, which provides a three year manufacturer warranty. With the card you get another year, unless you pay with something like the Citi Strata card which provides two extra years.
Failure rate for most electronics will be highest in the first year, but I have no idea how long before components start breaking down for these newer receivers.

Shows in stock and drops $200 from the $999 price when I apply TXRZ30. 🤷
