It's $74.99 - $20 + $5.02 (tax) = $60.01 for me.

How does this thing stack up to other hubs/docks?

Keep in mind that this hub only supports up to 10 Gbps, so you won't be able to take advantage of TB4 speeds.

You really want a 40 Gbps dock that gives your NVMe blades the lower latency of PCIe-clean connections. Then the Mac handles NVMe signaling.

Interesting Thunderbolt enclosure but as best I can tell doesn't have a "Hub" for additional USB A/C ports.

That all adds heat and cost, though I would prefer the empty space be used for ventilation and fans.

Apple, in their infinite wisdom, put the power button underneath the system. The gap makes the power button accessible (and easier to find).

I wonder how many people ordered this thinking it's a $55 thinner Mac Mini. If a Xbox Series X can be had for $50 AND can chill cans of your Sierra Mist and Tab, who could pass that up?

Good price. But I'm gonna try to roll the Chinese SSD upgrade. Tear down looks straightforward, no cables to disconnect

It's for ventilation, it helps your MM performance better and last longer
