I've had one for a few months and it's been great for me. Seems everything is getting more expensive these days! Still a discount to the RZ models at least. Personally I wouldn't buy a used receiver, tried that twice and both times it had issues.
There's no reason to get this AVR w/the existence and near price point of the RZ30!
In this product range
The real deal was that Integra DRX 3.4 that kept popping up for $569
For smaller to mid size listening area if you could use the units internal bass management
Dirac on board at no extra charge and a 5 year factory warranty
IMO, you would have to spend a LOT more to obtain a significant upgrade from that with Dirac onboard
I used this unit for a couple of years before upgrading to an RZ50. It's solid.P.S. If you live in driving distance of Atlanta, and want to buy my gently used model for half this price, DM me.
Can you DM on this forum? I don't see an option. I've got two Denon 7.2 and just acquired two more speakers. Was considering Daisy chaining them with preamp out.
That was a great price. Should be cheaper by now though. the newer RZ30 was this price already - I'd hold the line for one of these around this price on BF/CM https://slickdeals.net/f/18638305
lol why, import or not they just need the excuse!
Having experience with all these, agreed the RZ30 for $700(or close to) is probably the best way to go.
The only real advantage to the RZ50 is if you need 11 channels.
Heck I would even include the RZ70 in that equation especially for the huge price difference!
The Integra DRX 3.4 for $570 was mentioned.
IF that sale ever comes back, unlikely it would be that price again, look at this price!
Even if it did, the extra $130 buys you much newer unit, independent sub outs, access to DLBC & less likely to need the pre outs.
Worth the investment imo.
On side note, for those that have access to the other Dirac RCs, rumor is Dirac's BF sale starts Monday.

I used it for 18 months and sold it for what I paid for it. It sold in a day
The RZ30 was already this price. I'd skip this and get RZ30 for this price.
