FYI – The rules on the $15 credit are pretty strict. Last year, I applied it to an order that I ended up cancelling and never got the credit back. I appealed to support and they said it was one time use and doesn't get refunded. Trying to save others from potential headache. Makes sure you only order what you are for sure going to keep!

For anyone decide to buy apple gift card and then use to buy "iphone/ipad/macbook...". You are allowed up to $2,000 in apple balance and up to 8 gift card seperately on the transaction ( this is "online" limit , in store I believe 20). Basically 2,800 capped on "apple gift card" per transaction

The $15 Amazon credit will probably only apply for 1.

This deal pairs a $100 Apple eGift card with a $15 Amazon promotional credit, and the Apple card can be redeemed for hardware, subscriptions, and digital goods. The gift card can be added to an Apple Account, where it pays from balance before a credit card, and the Amazon credit has been arriving by email after checkout. The main catches are that the Amazon credit is one per account, expires January 31, 2026, and only applies to eligible items sold and shipped by Amazon. Apple balance can also trigger fraud checks or checkout hassles on larger purchases, so keeping cards separate can be simpler.

  • people buying Apple iCloud storage or Apple Music subscriptions because the Apple eGift card balance can be applied to an Apple Account and Apple will deduct that balance before charging a credit card.

    NervousShape256other8289FabulousCrow2645

  • Amazon shoppers planning a future eligible Amazon.com purchase because the $15 is a promotional credit (not a regular Amazon gift card), applied after purchase and usable on eligible items shipped and sold by Amazon.com until Jan 31, 2026.

  • shoppers who want to use the Apple gift card for in-store tap-to-pay at an Apple Store because commenters said it worked when their Apple Account balance showed in Apple Wallet and they used the Apple Store app.

    JaTaNJaTaN

  • buyers who are okay keeping the $15 as a separate gift-card-style credit for Apple Store use because one commenter said you can only use it in the Apple Store if you keep it as a gift card and don't apply it to your Apple account.

    duke5150

  • people who are buying Apple hardware online and picking up at the store because one commenter said online order + store pickup worked better than trying to bring multiple e-gift cards into the Apple Store.

  • families or group buyers who need multiple Apple eGift cards because commenters reported buying multiple cards (e.g., 10 in-store) and using them across family members, though it took time to place multiple orders.

    GlenR1272

  • shoppers trying to maximize Apple Account balance for hardware purchases in-store because multiple commenters warned Apple's fraud/payment controls can reject purchases when the gift cards are loaded to an Apple account (and they described it as a hassle to fix).

    phatparentsFairlightRacingFairlightRacingFairlightRacing

  • buyers who want to use the $15 as an Amazon gift card at checkout because commenters said it may not behave like a normal Amazon gift card and has been reported as not guaranteed / not applicable at checkout even when shown in the account.

    PurpleVest427kensteele

  • people who want to use the $15 credit on any Amazon item because commenters said it's restricted to eligible products that are sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon.com.

    SteveClark1000dealsbyninja

  • buyers who are trying to use the promo more than once per Amazon account because commenters reported "one per account" behavior and that a second attempt using the promo code was rejected as already used.

    domdom5516BlluittFW

  • people who plan to cancel or change the order after applying the $15 promo credit because one commenter said the credit was one-time use and they did not get it refunded after cancellation.

    NeatRecess7251

  • shoppers who want to redeem in the Apple Store by walking in with many separate gift cards because one commenter said it's impractical and suggested ordering online for pickup instead.

is the promo code APPLEBF needed?

I tried enter the code during check out tbut it couldn't work.

I saw the message "One per account. Purchase USD 100.00 or more in Apple gift cards, get a $15 Promotional Credit towards your next eligible purchase. You will receive the credit and email confirmation that the credit has been applied to your account within 24 hours; this credit does not show in your gift card balance. It can be used on eligible products shipped and sold by Amazon.com until January 31, 2026."

NOTE: You can only use it in the Apple Store if you keep it as a gift card and don't apply it to your apple account. If you apply it to your apple account you can use it for apple music subscription and iCloud.
Wrong. I just purchased a 17 pro max using all the apple balance I had.

Works. Still waiting for amazon credit email within 2 hours.

One per account. Purchase USD 100.00 or more in Apple gift cards, get a $15 Promotional Credit towards your next eligible purchase. You will receive the credit and email confirmation that the credit has been applied to your account within 24 hours; this credit does not show in your gift card balance. It can be used on eligible products shipped and sold by Amazon.com until January 31, 2026.

I'm planning on doing the same in store tomorrow. Did you simply use Apple Pay with your account balance?
